A beautiful Redwing Art Deco vase with nudes dancing between trees.
The embossed designs are repeated around the vase, there are two different poses of the dancing nudes that alternate with leafy trees.
The glaze is a soft mustard yellow color.
The vase measures 9.5" tall, the base has a diameter of 3&3/8", the top opening is 3", the widest part of the vase is approximately 5.5".
The dancing nude panels and trees measure 3" by 4.25".
The vase has a graceful shape with sleek lines.
Excellent condition, no damage or visible wear. There are factory 'flaws' that occur during the firing, nothing that detracts or devalues the piece.
Marked 209 on the bottom, the vase is pictured in the Red Wing Art Pottery reference book by Ray Reiss on page 23. The value in 1999 was listed as $250-$300.
