A lovely Native American sterling combination pendant/pin by Native American Zuni artist Phyllis Coonsis.
The colorful piece has ten pear shaped set stones and shells with a round one in the center that is framed with twisted wire.
They stones are set in serrated edge bezels with solid silver beads separating each stone on the scalloped outer edge.
The stones include turquoise, mother of pearl, purple, red and orange spiny oyster, and gaspeite.
Very well made, all the settings and wire work are soldered onto a solid sheet of silver.
The piece has pin findings as well as a pendant loop for versatility.
Measures 1&1/8" in diameter, the teardrop cabs are 7mm by 4mm, the round one is 5mm.
Total weight is 6.2 grams.
Very well made and in excellent condition with no damage or visible wear.
Unmarked for silver content, the piece tested sterling with acid, it is signed Phyllis for Phyllis Coonsis.
