A personal favorite vintage jewelry technique was created by W. E. Richards Company of Attleboro, Ma. founded in 1902.
The Symmetalic line was developed in 1936, it used a layer of 14k fused to sterling or a layer of gold fill on top of sterling.
This bracelet is solid sterling topped with a layer of 14k gold on the top.
The pierced links have a raised flower that rests in the center of each of the seven links.
The pierced areas provide nice contrast and give the bracelet an airy delicacy.
Great attention to small detail in the connecting links that are four sided pyramids.
The links have a slight arch so the bracelet lies beautifully on the wrist.
Marked on a soldered tag on the back 'Symmetalic Sterling & 14k.
Measures 7.5" by .5", total weight is 13.3 grams.
Excellent condition, no damage or visible wear, it closes with a secure fold over clasp.
A beautiful Retro sterling and gold bracelet and a great example of symmetalic c1940s.
