A beautifully crafted Navajo sterling silver and natural turquoise ring made by Gila and Grace Sakai of New Mexico.
The natural green Carico Lake Turquoise is stunning with interesting matrix.
The bezel set turquoise has a flat table, it is framed with a design of wire alternating with three solid silver beads at the top and bottom and two at the sides.
Each length of wire is incised with a line at mid point.
The shank has a split band on the sides of the setting.
Ring size 6.5, the top measures 7/8" by 5/8", the turquoise alone measures 18mm by 9mm, the setting sit 3/16" off the finger.
Signed Nakai and stamped Sterling on the underside of the setting, total weight is 5.6 grams.
Very well made and in excellent condition, no damage or visible wear. The stone has natural inclusions in the matrix, these are not defects and completely secure.
