A stunning antique 18k yellow gold filigree ring with a rich green tourmaline.
The faceted stone has an emerald cut, it is set horizontally in a bezel framed with subtly stepped setting.
The sides of the shank and below the shank are delicate filigree that extends below and down the sides of the shank.
The ring is very well made and in overall excellent condition, there is some wear to the facet lines of the stone that are visible under magnification.
Ring size 6, the front of the ring is .5" by 3/8", the tourmaline measures 8mm by 6mm.
Marked 18k and hallmarked with the logo for Larter Co- a spring back shirt stud.
Total weight is 3.6 grams.
