A wonderful vintage 14k gold ring with a large rosette of thirteen opals.
The center opal is marquise, it has a secure multi prong setting.
The prong set round opals have vibrant flashes of electric green and orange in a milky white base.
The opals create a lens shape, all opals are genuine, solid stones.
The cluster of opals sit on a strong raised frame work that sits .25" off the shank, the marquise opal is raised 1/16" from the frame of round stones.
The plain rose gold shank supports the setting with a solid construction, the shank is wider at the sides and tapers slightly in the back.
Very well made and in excellent condition, no damage and minimal wear.
Ring size 6.75, the cluster measures 11/16" by 7/16", the center opals is 10mm by 5mm, the round opals are 2mm. The shank is 3/16" in the front and tapers to 1/8" in the back.
Total weight is a 3.2 grams, the ring is marked 14k inside the shank.
