A lovely antique Victorian ring beautifully made in 14k yellow gold.
Two prong set opals are set diagonally, each stone is set with six prongs.
The opals have mesmerizing flecks of color- vibrant green, gold and orange.
Ring size 8, the opals measure 6mm in diameter, the front of the ring measures 7/16" and spans 7/16" across.
The bypass style transitions gracefully into the shank, it is slightly thicker in the front and tapers towards the back.
Excellent condition, no damage and minimal wear.
Marked 14 inside the shank with a hallmark, there is an inscription that reads "Mother-Mizpah-Virginia 1900". The last digit is very worn and barely visible.
Simple and elegant, a beautiful vintage opal ring from the late Victorian period.
