A lovely Victorian sterling handcrafted aesthetic movement pin.
The center has a raised oval with an intricately engraved floral design of a morning glory and forget-me-not.
Both of these flowers had significance to Victorians.
The engraved oval center has a lower frame of raised and twisted wire, the scalloped edge has a beaded edge of individually applied beads.
It has an old C style catch and tube pin stem, the pin stem exceeds the length of the pin-a testament to its age.
Measures 1.25" by 1" by .25" in depth, total weight is 3.8 grams.
Unmarked, the silver tested sterling with acid.
Excellent antique condition, no damage or visible wear.
