A delightful antique Edwardian lace pin beautifully made in 14k yellow gold and set with fresh water pearls.
The diminutive style was most often a "lace pin", it was used to hold something in place- to confine a length of lace at the neckline or at the throat, sometimes to attach drapery at the shoulder. They often had sentimental meaning.
The pretty pin has graceful gold curls around three fresh water pearls.
The pearls are graduated in size with the largest in the center.
Very well made and in excellent condition, no damage or visible wear.
Measures 15/16" by just under 5/16", total weight is 1.5 grams.
Marked on the wide C catch 14k.
A lovely of antique lace pin c1900-1915.
