A stunning Moroccan sterling pendant necklace lavishly embellished with green, orange and blue enamel and accented with four coral cabochons.
The hand crafted necklace features a two piece pendant on an ornate handmade chain.
The pendant has intricate designs in twisted and beaded wire, solid silver beads and vitreous enamel,
The center has a detailed dome, each quadrant of the pendant has a natural red coral cabochon set in a saw tooth bezel.
Five silver teardrops hang from the bottom, three are enameled and two have teardrop coral cabs in saw tooth bezels.
The pendant hangs from an ornate enameled bead decorated with the same silver elements used in the pendant. The back of the pendant has a lovely enameled design in blue, green and orange.
The detailed chain uses a combination of twisted and round wire to form the dimensional links.
The pendant measures 3.5" long by 1.5" wide (the diameter of the circle), the chain is 18" long by 1/8" wide.
Excellent condition, no damage and minimal wear, lovely old patina.
Unmarked, the silver pendant tested sterling with acid, the chain is marked 925 for sterling.
Total weight is 47.8 grams.
