An especially beautiful vintage gold filled scarab bracelet* c1950s.
The scarab beetle was sacred to the ancient Egyptians, a symbol of resurrection and the afterlife.
The Egyptian Revival bracelet uses seven different semi precious gemstones carved into scarab beetles.
The stones include rock crystal quartz, chalcedony, serpentine, tiger eye, carnelian, rhodonite and malachite.
The cabochons are carved on both sides, set in bezels and attached with triple wire jump rings.
Excellent condition, no damage and minimal wear. The cabochon stones are very well carved with precision.
Marked gold filled on the secure spring ring clasp.
The bracelet measures 7.75" long and just under .5" wide, each bezel set stone is 5/8" by .5" (16mm by 12mm).
Looks great alone or in combination with other scarab bracelets.
