A lovely vintage Miriam Haskell stickpin featuring layered pansies.
The four sculpted pansies create a gentle dome, each flower has a faux pearl wired in the center.
The metal is interesting, a light silver with a hint of gold. The petals have a slightly stippled surface, the flowers are riveted to a filigree back.
The pin has a decorative keeper to cover the pin, it is embellished with an orchid with a faux pearl center and two dangling pearls.
Signed on the back of the filigree with the Miriam Haskell logo on a soldered tag.
The total length is 3.25", the pansy top has a diameter of 1", the keeper is 7/16" by 1" including the hanging pearls.
Excellent condition, no damage or visible wear.
Fabulous on a lapel or as a hat ornament!
A charming stickpin by Miriam Haskell, a great innovator and designer c1940s.
