Art Deco English Sterling Jade & Marcasite Pin

A stunning Art Deco sterling, jade and marcasite bar pin made in England c1920s.

The translucent green jade has variations in color from soft celadon green to dark pine green.

The jade is cut into a dome, the short sides are angled out from the top.

The jade is set on a flat sterling bar and clamped on the short ends, two bands bind the domed jade 3/8" from the ends.

The bands are studded with bead set marcasites, the center of the jade is drilled and has a single larger marcasite set into it.

Measures 2&1/8" by .5", the jade is 3/8" wide, total weight is 6.5 grams.

Marked on the bar 'Made in England Sterling Silver'.

Excellent condition, no damage or visible wear, it closes with a C catch.
