Antique Victorian 15k Etruscan Revival Pin Rose Cut Diamonds

A rare and very beautiful antique Victorian Etruscan revival brooch with three rose cut diamonds.

The gracefully shaped pin is from the Romantic period in Victorian design.

It has a raised center circle that has the bead set diamonds within chiseled leaves, a very fine stem is engraved.

The circle is framed with three rows of twisted wire in different sizes and a scalloped edge circle.

The remainder of the pin has a delicate design in relief using applied beads, twisted wire and dimensional applied gold all of which create a very fine spray of buds, flowers and leaves on fine stems.

The outside edge has four large beads and scalloped ends.

Very well made and in excellent condition, no damage or visible wear, untouched patina. It closes with an old C catch and hinged tube pin stem.

Marked 15ct on the back indicating it is most likely English in origin dating from 1854-1860 when jewelry was entirely handcrafted.

Measures 1&11/16" by 3/8", total weight is 2.8 grams.
