A stunning vintage Art Deco sterling ring c1920-30s.
The ring has a beautiful bezel set translucent blue chalcedony cabochon framed with a subtle long/short beaded edge.
The open back setting allows the light to pass through the stone revealing the pale pink undertones.
The most unique feature is the escutcheon riveted to the stone- the delicate design is set with four marcasites.
The shank is embellished with small beads and domes that trail a bit along the sides, the back is plain.
Most photos were taken with the flash, the last two were taken without.
Ring size 5, the front of the ring measures 7/8" by .5", the cab is is 20mm by 10mm, total weight is 4.5 grams.
The ring can be sized by a competent jeweler using a laser soldering unit.
Excellent condition, no damage and minimal wear.
