A fabulous vintage Native American ring beautifully made in sterling silver.
The ring has an interesting petrified wood cabochon cut with a shallow dome.
The bezel set stone has a heavy twist of wire on either side, the sides of the shank have an appliqued thunderbird with a figure beneath it.
Ring size 10, it was most likely made for a man but is certainly suitable for a woman.
The stone measures .5" by 7/8", the sides next to the stone are .75" wide and tapers to 3/16" in the back.
Total weight is 11.3 grams.
Excellent condition, there is some wear to one side of the bezel- the stone is secure in the bezel and it is no distraction.
Marked Sterling with the hallmark for Bell Trading Company.
A fabulous example of Native American jewelry with a great petrified wood cabochon.
