A superb late Art Nouveau ring meticulously made in 12k white, yellow and rose gold.
The intricate design has both engraved and applied designs in rose and yellow gold, the shank is white gold.
Delicate and graceful designs cover most of the shank, even the very back is embellished with applied designs in yellow and rose gold.
The front is set with a rich cobalt lapis cabochon set in a bezel.
Probably made as a man's pinky, the ring is suitable for either male or female.
The quality and condition are excellent, no damage and minimal wear.
Ring size 6, the lapis front measures .75" by .5", the shank tapers to 1/8" in the back.
Unmarked, the ring tested higher than 10k but lower than 14k so it is in the 12k range.
Total weight is 11.1 grams.
Most likely made in Germany where the use of white gold started in 1912.
A stunning design beautifully executed in three colors of gold and set with a fabulous lapis cab.
