A lovely vintage Black Hills gold ring with a sparkling center diamond.
Black Hills gold jewelry is a type of jewelry manufactured in the Black Hills of South Dakota*.
The style typically depicts leaves, grape clusters and vines, made with alloys of gold - standard yellow gold as well as green and pink gold.
This ring is a great example, it has the addition of a diamond flanked by a rose gold and green gold leaf.
The leaves are hand engraved with veins and fine lines.
Set with six prongs, the diamond has three solid yellow gold beads above and below the diamond.
Ring size 6, the top measures 3/8" north to south and .75" across the shank.
The diamond is 3mm round and has plenty of clean sparkle.
Excellent condition, no damage and minimal wear.
Marked 10k and hallmarked with a script R and bold L, total weight is 2.1 grams.
A wonderful example of a Black Hills gold ring.
