A stunning vintage signed Mexican sterling and enamel butterfly necklace c1940-50s.
Three brightly enameled butterflies are featured, one larger center one with ones two smaller separated with 5/8" of chain.
Excellent execution and attention to detail, the enamel is complex with vibrant colors, the designs are the same on all three butterflies.
The surface beneath the enamel is engraved which can be seen through the translucent enamel.
Measures 18" long, the butterflies are 1.5" by 1&1/8" and 1" by 7/8", total weight is 18.6 grams.
Excellent condition, no damage or visible wear.
