An exquisite antique Edwardian pin/pendant beautifully crafted in 14k yellow gold.
It features a dome of cobalt blue enamel with gold stars floating within the enamel, a single pearl sits at the top of the dome.
The dome is set with fancy prongs and framed with lustrous pearls and a .second, lower frame of gold beads.
The dome rests on a base of double triangles with a single line of black enamel.
The sides have three pearls dangling off each side, the center has a tassel of seven gold chains with bead tips. One of the pearls maybe have been replaced with a cultured pearl though if so it is not at all noticeable and is mentioned for accuracy.
The pendant has a fold down loop so it can be worn as a pin, the findings are an Edwardian safety clasp that works in reverse.
Very well made and in excellent condition, no damage or visible wear, really pristine.
The 14k chain is a newer, 18" rope style which is not original to the piece.
The pendant measures 2.5" by 2", total weight is 19.7 grams including the chain.
An extraordinary piece of antique jewelry c1901-1910.
