A wonderful early Native American sterling box.
The handmade box is oval, the top is a concho, it has a stamped design of rays in the center.
The edge of the lid is scalloped, each scallop is stamped with the same style ray design, the bottom is stamped with opposing crescents.
It has a tube hinge, a wire runs through the tube and is soldered to the bottom.
Works perfectly, the box opens and closes perfectly.
Excellent condition, no damage or visible wear.
Unmarked, the box tests sterling with acid.
Measures 1.75" by 1&3/8" by 3/8" deep, total weight is 14 grams.
