Old Heywood Wakefield wicker footstool guessing to be from around the 1890s. Has the traditional beading in the weaving. It is painted a creamy beige, must have been white at one time and has aged to a dark ivory color. I don't know if it was originally painted, but has been professionally done and has been that way for the forty or so years it has been in my family's possession. Measures 14 inches tall by about 16 inches diameter at the top. In amazingly very good condition with only a very few minor splits in some of the caning. The only thing I can see is that there must have been metal caps on the legs at one time, now there is felt.
