Vintage Elegant Glass - Cambridge Rose Point Tall Crystal Comport - Compote #3121 Stem
The Rose Point etched pattern was the most popular and prolific of all the Cambridge patterns. There were literally hundreds of items made in the Rose Point etch. Many brides made it their pattern of choice. This pattern was manufactured from approximately 1936 through 1953. Depression Era and into the Mid-Century.
Offering for your shopping pleasure a lovely Cambridge Rose Point Etched Tall Comport with a #3121 stem. It Measures 6-1/8" Tall and is 5-3/8" across. The foot measures 3-1/2" across. The #3121 comports are hand blown and hand tooled so they might vary a tiny bit in height. It is slightly optic having ten subtle panels around the inside of the bowl and it has a top edge that is ground and polished as hand blown pieces are known for.
I used a blue background to show off the pattern. The glass is clear, crystal, and rings beautifully when lightly tapped.
I don't find any damage, not a nick, chip, scratch, stain, crack or repair, and no wear. I doubt this was ever used This is from an estate and I know it had been stored away for many years.
