Vintage L. E. Smith No. 44 Colonial Lace Milk Glass Footed Banana Stand 1954 - 1965
Early pieces (1936-1937) in this Colonial Lace No. 44 pattern were made in crystal, black, and blue. In 1954 the black was reissued and they also started manufacturing this pattern in milk glass. Pieces in this pattern are often miss-identified as being made by Imperial Glass Company, Westmoreland, or Co-operative Flint Glass Company. These three companies also made lace edge patterns.
Five other items were formed from the mold that made this banana boat.
This banana bowl is damage free. No nicks, chips, flakes, cracks, or scratches.
The size is 8-1/2" Long X 4-3/4" Wide X 4-3/8" Tall.
