SALE SAVE 20% - Lovely Etruscan Majolica Begonia Leaf Pickle Plate 1880's
This Begonia plate is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of offering. I don't see any issues with it, other than it is not marked. I acquired this from an estate, a few years ago, along with an Etruscan collection and I feel sure it was also manufactured by Griffen Smith and Hill. I know it is a bit unusual but I also do not see any sign of crazing. Someone took great care of this piece.
It is a medium size measuring 8-3/4" Long X 5-5/8" Wide. I believe this leaf started its life as a pickle plate.
It is a honey and pretty colors too. Light green to pale lavender, to dark browns, greens, and golden yellows.
It is ready to go, don't let this one get away.
Thanks for looking!
