Offering a Vintage Syrup - Honey Pitcher - Dispenser - Red Bakelite Handle
This nice jar can dispense dry items like sugar and salt, as well as syrup, molasses, honey, cream,...........etc.
The Patent for the top, Number 1,884,840 was issued in May, 1932, to Sanicut Mfg. Company and the number is showing under the handle. The inventor was Ralph Hudson Pershall. I'm not sure who made the jar. This one has the bulbous body and the rayed bottom.
The condition of the jar is, no chips, cracks, bites, stains, repairs, or cloudiness. The chromed lid is in unusually nice condition. The chrome is intact with no oxidation. Watch out for that steel slide though, it is sharp where it covers the spout. The mechanism works just fine and the lid screws on and off the jar without any problem. The Red Bakelite handle is free from damage too.
SIZE: 5-1/2" Tall, Approx. 3-1/2" Wide, 2-3/8" Base. It holds about 12 ounces.
