Seneca Fashionables Pattern - Black Low Water Goblets Mid 1970's
Offering for your consideration are four beautiful black glass low water goblets in the Seneca Glass Fashionables pattern #1974 Stem. These are 4-1/4" Tall X 2-7/8" Base X 3-3/8" OD Top. Mid-Century Modern style and I also think they would go well with Danish Modern style of the 1960's.
Seneca Glass Company has a long and impressive history, 1891 - 1982. It was known for its high-quality stemware, which was was marketed by many up-scale stores and used by famous people world wide.
These fine black goblets have a pleasant ring tone when tapped. They appear to be mold blown hand crafted glass.
CONDITION: As with all older glass you will usually see some signs of use. One goblet has two scratches on top of the foot and two about an inch down from the top on the inside. The goblet is still quite serviceable though, it has no chips, bites, cracks, or stains. This black glass is so reflective that any scratches are difficult to see. The other three goblets are free from damage. No bottom wear.
These can also be used for juice and old fashions or a large wine. Even a little brandy on a cold night.
Thanks for looking, enjoy your day and don't let these get away!
