The size is approximately 3-1/2" tall and 4-1/4" wide.
Eye popping blue hue in the Mount Pleasant pattern aka #525. Besides Colonial Blue this color was also called Nu-Blue, Peacock Blue, and Caribbean Blue. The Mount Pleasant pattern, for the most part, refers to the top rim with the shape and arrangements of the scalloped edge. The pattern going around the top of this bowl is, two points, one rounded scallop, one point, one rounded scallop, one point, one rounded scallop, repeating around the rim.
The hobnails are softly rounded and smaller at the bottom. Coming up the sides the hobnails grow larger and are flattened out starting three rows from the top. This piece is often identified as a Fenton item but it is not. Fenton's hobnails are usually pointed and generally much closer together, in contrast to these and Fenton does not have the scalloped edge.
