Vintage MIJ - Japan Jam Jar - 1960's
Cute Jam Jar with spoon and a jaunty hat cover. The jar is ceramic and the plastic spoon is marked, Japan. I believe the jar is a Made In Japan import and more than likely had a sticker at one time. It resembles condiment jars I have seen pictured in other books on imported ceramics. It might be, Inarco, Enesco, Lipper & Mann, Norcrest, Lefton, Ucagco, or any of the other import companies that flourished from the 1930's to the 1980's.
The condition is, no chips, stains, dings, or cracks. Normal crazing and tiny manufacturing flaws for this type of ware.
Measurements: 4-3/4" Tall, 4-1/4" Wide, 2-1/2" opening.
Thanks for looking. Enjoy the day!
