Antique - Bryce, Higbee & Co. Butterfly With Spray Child's Mug - Ca. 1885
Originally named the ACME pattern this sweet little EAPG mug is more popularly known as the Butterfly With Spray pattern. At first glance it looks like an etching but the pattern is raised (embossed) on the outside of the glass.
Bryce, Higbee made four sizes of this mug. Here are the sizes for your reference from large to small: 3-1/4", 2-3/4", 2-1/2", and 2". These should be measured by how tall they are.
This little one is the 2-1/2" size. The outside diameter of the top rim is 2-3/8" and the opening is 2". Just the right size for a small child or a child's dolly.
CONDITION: No damage, no chips, nicks, cracks, dings, scratches, or stains. If you compare this mug to a stark white background you might see a very faint cast of sun purple in the glass. Not too surprising considering its age.

This pretty little mug is already over 125 years old. Start a tradition, make it a family heirloom.
