Vintage Large Size Two Light Candle Holders.
Offered in the Montgomery Ward Summer catalog issue of 1943.
They were originally sold with bobeches and prisms and my reference book also indicates they have also been seen with globes to make them hurricane lamps. That would have been quite an assortment of different looks.
These are large and impressive candlesticks. 8-1/4"high. 5-1/8" diameter decagon base, 9" arm spread on each one.
CONDITION: Excellent without any damage. No chips, scratches, repairs, stains, or bites.
Reference: "The Glass Candlestick Book, Volume 2" by Tom Felt, Elaine and Rich Stoer, indicates this pair in the Indiana Glass section Page 255, as number IN-62 and says they are probably Indiana Glass issues.
In any case they are a really nice pair and they would look great on a table or even a mantle.
Thanks for looking.
