Please wait for a paypal request, if this is the option you choose to pay with..........I have to manually send it out now. Ruby Lane changed some things for sellers and requires a Paypal Business account now for you to automatically pay with paypal on Ruby Lane. I opted "not" to do a business account, as I would have to put in too much "personal" information and I just did not want to do that, so, now you can't automatically pay with paypal, I have to manually send you a request through paypal. If you choose "other online payment" I will send you a paypal invoice.

Up for your consideration today is the antique Victorian paper mache pullstring nodder head/automation dog. I truly don't know what to say or think about this dog. It is extremely old, at least 100 years old, but, I think it is most likely older than that. It has two strings in the back bottom, one of the strings, when you pull it, it makes the dogs head nod, the other string, when you pull it, it is "supposed" to make the mouth move, but, the mouth movement is pretty much non-existent, it moves just the tiniest bit. It is an interesting piece. I posted in a couple of groups to see what their thoughts on it were, all were in agreement that it is at least 100 years old and there were a ton of guesses on what it might have been for, from puppetry, carnival piece, TV show prop, ventriloquist dummy and the list went on. In all reality, I will probably never know what it was originally used for. It is in a little worse for wear condition, it kind of leans to one side, but I do believe this is how it was made, a lot of the fur is missing, a lot of the sequins on the collar are missing and a wire is sticking out a little on his head. Paper mache head with glass eyes. When I received him, when I opened him up, it stunk to high heaven, so, I put him in a trash bag with lots of scented dryer sheets and he smells much better, but, I can't guarantee that the stink won't come back, so, if you are truly sensitive to smells, this is "not" the piece to add to your collection. He stands about 15 inches tall. I'm sure you will never find another one like it! One of the early unique toys of years gone by.

I am currently not shipping to other Countries due to the amount of time it is taking to reach its destination.
