Up for your consideration is this German 16" poured wax shoulder head girl with teeth. I believe her to be all original, with the antique outfit, undergarments, shoes, wig and hat. She has sleep glass eyes, but her mohair wig is glued on tight, so I'm unable to remove the wig and pate to see if they are in their original set. She should be fine shipped without the head stuffed, since she is wax and not bisque. She is on her original firmly stuffed cloth body with large rump and stitched jointed legs, curved wax hands and arms. Her body is marked "C Nagol, gob. Andrews, Puppen-Fabrik, Hamburg," at least that is the best that I can make out. I've consulted with a couple of other doll sellers and none were familiar with this marking, so she is a mystery!
Condition: Right eye retouched. thumbs appear to be redipped (but could be how it was originally made), crack beneath left cheek, red lips have running and a bit dirty, as is her outfit, receding wax around eyes and mouth but her body is in really wonderful condition.
She would be a welcome addition to any collection! Her outfit/shoes/hat alone are worth the price that I have her at! Price is firm!
