Up for your consideration is this very pretty Kestner 154. She is marked on the back of the head, very hard to read though, marked 154 Dep 4, is what it looks like, definitely a 154. She measures about 16 inches tall. Her eyes have been reset, but I see no damage to her bisque, no chips, cracks or hairlines. She has a leather body, her bottom legs/feet are cloth, the rest is leather, with a tare in the leather on the back by her shoulder plate. Most likely from someone trying to see if there were any markings. Other than that, her leather body is in really good condition, with some staining from where the doll stand cradles her body, but a very clean body. She wears a fabulous outfit, not sure of exact age of it, but it is an older outfit with a little bit of staining. One of her shoes has almost deteriorated, the other shoe is in very good condition. I often wonder how those kind of things happen.......if only these dolls could talk! Her wears a very old straw hat & has some damage, but looks great on her. She wears a blonde mohair wig, which could use a bit of styling. The tape you see in her pics on the side of her head, is the paper tape that is to hold down her pate. Didn't realize it showed until I was editing the pictures. I've shortened that tape now to where it doesn't show, but didn't retake the pictures. She's a great little gal, with a great outfit!
