Pair of Antique Meissen Hand Painted Porcelain Flower Vases Cobalt Blue
Beautiful pair of early 1900s porcelain vases made by renown German manufacture. Vases are cobalt blue with white handles. Center of each vase is decorated with hand painted multi-color flowers. Each vase is marked with underglaze blue crossed swords. One of the vases has 2 lines etched on the crossed-swords. This is a sign that the vase did not pass a strict Meissen quality control at the factory. One vase is slightly higher than the other. Possibly this was the reason for the quality mark. One vase stands at 9 3/4 inches, and the other is just below 10 inches tall. Vases are in a very good condition.
