This is super rare antique copperplate engraving of the architectural plan of the Cathedral of Exeter and the site of the adjoining building. It is plate II and it was published and engraved by James Basire (and drawn by John Carter) in 1797 in"Some account of the Cathedral Church of Exeter : illustrative of the plans, elevations, and sections of that building."
Plate is signed as drawn by John Carter and engraved by James Basire.

Good condition with age related foxing .
