This is a highly collectible set of marked SYMMETALIC jewelry, consisting of a matching floral brooch and earring parure with enameled petals and 14K gold vermeil finish. The brooch is also marked STERLING + 14K. The pierced stud earring are unmarked but test as sterling. The earring backs are replacements and are marked 925. The brooch has its original functional pin back with safety catch. Symmetalic is the 1936 registered trademark of W. E. Richards company, founded in 1902 in Attleboro, Mass. and still in business, though the symmetalic name hasn't been used since the late 1940s.
The brooch weighs 11.2 gr. It measures 1.375 across the square from side to side and 1.75" across from point to point. The earrings have a combined weight of 5.1 gr. They each measure .625" in diameter.
Condition: The brooch has some enamel loss, please see photos. No other damage noted.
