1947 Emma Clear Parian Bisque Kaiserina Augusta Victoria Doll Head + Parts
This is a 1947 Emma Clear parian bisque doll shoulder head representing the Kaiserina Augusta Victoria, plus suitable arms and legs to help make a whole doll. This same model is pictured in the 1951 Humpty Dumpty Doll Hospital catalog that was reproduced by Borger publications, which gives the original price for this doll head as $22.50.
This particular Emma Clear doll head measures 4.875" tall, 3.25" shoulder width, and 2.125" depth at the base. She has a beaded headband highlighted in gold. the details of her blouse are outlined in red. Her Maltese cross necklace is black with a gold outline. she has pierced ears. The head is marked Clear 47 on the back and inside black painted initials EK
The bisque arms and legs that I am offering with the head are not Clear parts, but were made by another doll artist in the 1950s-1960s. However they are a good match in size, color and quality.
Condition of all parts is good. No chips, cracks or repairs.
