This is a charming antique Chinese framed mini painting on silk of a barefoot boy with 2 baskets. The baskets are filled with layers of something white. The boy is dressed in a blue tunic and knee length blue pants. The oval frame is metal with a raised pattern around the perimeter. It has a hinged sturdy wire stand that pulls out from the back.
The framed measurements are 4.25" x 3".
Condition: The silk appears rippled and is not laying flat under the glass. There is some foxing, but less evident in person than in the photos.
This would be a nice addition to a collection of Chinese Asian artifacts.
