This is an antique commercially made brick orange color cotton dress suitable for an antique doll approximately 16" tall. Please check measurements for fit. The main portion of the dress is a brick orange colored soft cotton fabric with a subdued woven zigzag pattern. The bodice has a purple flower print on white cotton triangular insert framed by peach satin bands and scalloped white cotton edging. The skirt is embellished with 2 overlapping apron panels in matching print and scalloped edging. A single strip of lace binds the neckline. The dress opens down the back and pins to close. This dress is all hand stitched.
The dress measures 10.75" long from shoulder to hem, 4" flat across the chest between underarms, 4.75" flat across the waistline, 3.5" flat across the top of the neckline, 2" flat across the armhole, 1.875" flat across the bottom of the sleeve, and 8" flat across the bottom hem.
Condition: The peach satin bands have some splitting, otherwise the condition is good considering the age.
