This is a darling little 8" tall German Simon & Halbig bisque head doll in her original regional costume. She is marked on the back of the head with model number 1078, size number 3/0, S & H, and Germany. There is another line of markings that I can't read. She has her original composition jointed body with sweet little painted shoes and socks. Her blue glass eyes are set in fixed position. She has a blond mohair wig with long braids.
Condition is good. I note some paint loss on one leg. The stringing is a bit loose at the neck.
