This is a very well done 15" tall black cloth doll made by an doll artist in the style of the Columbian cloth dolls. She has a painted face and hair. Her body is soft stuffed. She has flat stitched fingers and toes. Her cotton clothes consist of a red print dress topped by a white pinafore. She wears a lace edged bonnet on her head.
Condition is good.
She has an especially sweet and endearing expression. The original Columbian dolls fetch very dear prices these days, but this recreation is far more affordable.
This item is offered on behalf of the Coleman Collection. Other select items will be posted from this collection as well.
