This is an antique Renaissance Revival style enamel and paste pendant on a 23" necklace chain. The only markings is XI on the back of the pendant. The metal is brass. The enamel work is in shades of black and green with enamel over textured gold foil in the middle. The paste stones vary in color from red, black, green and amethyst. The setting is an elaborate network of leafy scrolls. The chain is old but a later addition.
The pendant measures 4" long by 1.75" across. Chain is 23" long.
Condition is good, with patina left intact.
This is a large and showy piece, not for the shy. It is a statement piece.
