This is a very fine pair of French enamel earrings in 14K yellow gold pierced post settings. The settings have been updated to pierced posts. Clutches are marked 14K. The settings are actually 18K, with illegible marks and tested as 18K. The back of the enamels are both marked France. The enamels portray busts of beautiful woman wearing iridescent red robes and pale green head scarves. The ladies are facing in opposite directions, as a pair of earrings should.
The pair of earrings have a combined weight of 3.6 gr. They each measure .5" x .75".
Condition is good.
The enamels are gorgeous, and I love the simplicity of the gold settings.
