This is a circa 1870s German wax over papier mache doll with glass eyes, headband and earrings. She has a stuffed cloth body with wood lower limbs. Her antique clothing consists of pantaloons, petticoat, chemise, red and black skirt, and plaid jacket top.
Condition: Stable crack along mold seam line on left side of head and some corresponding surface losses in the area of her left ear. Gold braid headband may not be original
Of special note are the tiny coral bead earrings she is wearing.
