This is a charming 8" long circa 1920s-1940s vintage brown check doll coat, suitable for a bisque or early composition doll approximately 12" tall. Please check measurements for best fit. This coat has a plain brown lining and covered buttons. 2 buttons close the coat in front and 2 buttons in back accent the center pleat. Cuffs are shown turned up but can be turned down for added length. I am guessing the fabric content is cotton.
Measurements: 8" from top of shoulder to bottom hem, 5" across chest between underarms, 1" flat across the back of the neckline, sleeve length is 2" from underarm to cuff when the sleeve is not cuffed, 2" flat across cuff, 11" flat across bottom hem.
Condition is over all good. I note one small frayed area on underside of right sleeve near the seam.
