This is an unusual 18" tall circa early 1900s home made flannel cloth monkey doll with painted mask face. This monkey doll is soft stuffed. He is dressed in wool red plaid pants with matching hat and a red taffeta jacket with gold braid trim, closed with a leather belt. The monkey has wired fingers and a long curved tail.
Condition is overall good. Some gold braid is loose and frayed.
Add this fellow to your doll and toy collection for some amusing 'monkeying around'.
