This is a beautiful circa 1920s beige silk coat or dress suitable for a bisque or early composition doll approximately 20" -24" tall. Please check measurements fro best fit. The dress is meticulously sewn in a light weight woven silk fabric and subtly trimmed with blue silk cuffs and covered buttons on the lapels. The collar is an exquisite 3.5" deep lace ruffle with scalloped edge and delicate embroidery on net.
Measurements: 16.5" long from top of shoulder to bottom, 9" flat across the chest between armpits, 3" flat across armhole, 4" flat across cuff, 6" long sleeve from top of shoulder, 21.5" flat across bottom hem.
Condition: I find 4 tiny pencil point holes in the silk. there is some splitting on the blue silk cuffs and on the face of 1 of the blue buttons. It could use an ironing too.
I see this coat as being worn by one of the finer late bisque dolls such as a Jumeau. It is a subtly beautiful coat.
