This is a fine 25 inch tall circa 1860s-1870s Kestner china head doll with uncommon brown eyes. She has a flat top hair style. Her antique body appears to be commercially made and is cloth with horsehair stuffing a leather lower arms. She has a complete set of antique clothing consisting of pantaloons, petticoat, socks, high top boots, skirt with wheat pattern, brown apron, and cotton print blouse. She also has a tiny beaded necklace.
Condition: The shoulder head is in good condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. The body has typical age discolorations and some tears. Leather arms are intact though with some old repairs.
This is a good large example of this madel, with the added bonus of the less common brown eyes.
