This is a stylish black coral branch bracelet. No marks - just the natural material. These black corals are found in the Moluccas. Scientifically black corals are defined as Antipatharia, but are known locally as Uli or Akar Bahar. Black corals are pretty flexible, although remaining very firm. this bracelet is an old one, but exact dating is next to impossible. It is wonderfully smooth, and exhibits visible grain in some areas. Two projecting spurs add interest.
This bracelet currently fits a small to medium wrist size. inside diameters are 2.25" x 1.875" with a .75" wrist opening. It has very slight flexibility but if warmed I believe it could be urged to expand some.
If you want one of a kind - here you go. And of course there is some unverified magic associated with this sort of black coral.
